INTO Industrial Action Wednesday 18th January 2017

The INTO (teacher union) is planning to take industrial action on the morning of Wednesday 18^th January 2017.

The decision to close the school is never taken lightly, but in this instance, where staff have elected to take industrial action, school management have no choice but to take appropriate steps to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils. We know that school closures inconvenience parents and carers so this is advance notice of the likely impact of the action on the school.

If the action does go ahead, the following arrangements will be in place:

• The school will be closed to all pupils on 18^th January. Please do not send your son(s) to school on this date. If there are any changes to this planned industrial action parents will be informed by text.

All pupils will be marked present on that day.
