2018 5k and 10k Results

10k news

On Saturday 3rd February over 320 participants took part in our annual 10k and 5k run/walk.  There were 106 registered for the 5k run and 181 for the 10k run with several more participating in the walk. Both the 5k and 10k races started promptly at 11am, with some of the top athletes in the area and beyond, some travelling from Belfast and further afield to participate.  These athletes were joined by many of the school’s students and their families. It was a great family day and community occasion for the school with mothers and their babies, grandparents and whole families participating and competing alongside our own students and their teachers. The school is delighted with the level of support it received and thanks all participants for taking part.

The ‘Spirit of Enda Dolan’ cup was also awarded to Sean Diamond who was the first CBS student to complete the 10K race.  The 5k ‘Spirit of Enda Dolan’ shield went to top CBS athlete Thomas Haigney.
