Past Pupil Pauric Mullan Awarded All Ireland Scholarship

Pauric Mullan, from Carrickmore, has recently been awarded the J.P. McManus sponsored ‘All Ireland Scholarship.’ Pauric completed his A-levels at the Christian Brothers Grammar School, Omagh, in June 2017, achieving an A* in Applied IT, and two A grades in Biology and Mathematics.
The ‘All Ireland Scholarship’ scheme was established in 2008 to support many gifted young students across the whole island of Ireland, giving them extra financial support to enable them to participate in all aspects of college life during their third level education.
Sponsor J.P McManus states ‘I fundamentally believe that, education, is the key to success and now more than ever is a time for the true spirit of education to be fostered.’
Pauric is now studying a Degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management at the Queen’s University of Belfast.

Pauric’s successful scholarship award follows on from that of other CBS past pupils, David McDonagh and Paul Conway, both of whom were recipients in 2016.
