Stock Market Challenge Winners

Our Year 11 Business Studies students Conor McCarney, James Kelly, Enda McSorley and Matthew McClements beat off stiff competition from 18 other teams to collect the top prize in the Stock Market Challenge competition held in St Marys College, Derry.  After 5 fictitious days of trading the boys turned their initial pot of £21,000 into a handsome £69,200.  The boys were clear winners with their nearest rivals finishing up with a pot of £57,000.  The event which was organised by Invest NI and Young Enterprise was an enjoyable occasion that provided the students with a real insight into the workings of the stock exchange.
