STEM Day

news feature

On Wednesday 26th May  five of our feeder primary schools brought their Primary 6 students to the school to participate in  a number of STEM related activities. Pupils from St Mary’s Killyclogher, Holy Family, St Conor’s, Christ the King and Recarson enjoyed a day of experimentation and had a chance to get a feel for a normal school day at the CBS.

The pupils were lead through a number of experiments by the Science department, produced homemade pizzas under the guidance of the Home Economics teachers before competing in a rocket launch competition during a technology lesson.

The day proved to be an enjoyable experience for all involved and gave the primary 6 students an insight into life as a CBS student.
