swotUP Medicine Blog Launched

swotUP medical feature

With swotUp courses consistently selling out, a new swotUP Blog has been launched as a new way of reaching out to those students who are unable to get a ticket to one of the interview courses.

the swotUp Blogs can be accessed at  http://www.swotupblogs.wordpress.com

The blog will consist of two series:

“Can I study medicine if….?” is dedicated to addressing barriers that people may face when it comes to applying to and studying medicine – we will be looking at topics such as dyslexia, mental health issues, applying to medicine if you’ve gone to a secondary school etc

“Humans of swotUP” will include interviews with current UK medical students, exploring their experience of going through the medical school application process as well as studying medicine and our tips and advice to make the most of your application.

Getting into medicine shouldn’t depend on your social, financial or educational background or what connections you may have – it should depend on whether you have the capabilities to become a great doctor who views it as their vocation to help those in need!
