10k/5k Run and Walk 2018

On Saturday the 3rd of February we are staging our annual 10k and 5k run and walk.

CBS 10K/5K Run/Walk takes place this Saturday 3 February at 11am. Participants are asked to register early and the first 100 in the 10K receive a t-shirt. Refreshments will be available for all runners/walkers afterwards in the school assembly hall. All profits from the run/walk will go towards The Beausang College in Kenya. The Edmund Rice Development supports this school in one of the most impoverished area of Africa. 90% of pupils parents die due to ill health or violence. The school is adjacent to the largest slum in Kenya which creates many issues for pupils and their families. Our aim is to raise over £3000 which will be used to provide clean water, food, classroom lighting and improved sewage systems at the school.

Cash payments can be made at the school reception.

Registration Evening

A registration evening will take place in the school between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday 24th January.

The first 100 entrants to the 10k race can collect their T-shirt at the registration evening.

Late Entries

Late entries will be taken in the sports hall on the day of the race between 9am and 10am
