Format: Examination

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Weighting: (30%)

 

Unit 2: The Study of Drama and Poetry

Format: Examination

Duration: Two Hours

Weighting: (50%)

 

Unit 3: Controlled Assessment.

The Study of Shakespeare

Format: CCEA set the theme for title annually.

Duration: Two Hours

Unit 1- Writing for Purpose and Audience and Reading to Access Non-Fiction and Media Texts

Format: Examination

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Weighting: (30%)

 

Unit 2: Controlled Assessment: Speaking and Listening

Format: Range of tasks completed over two-year course. Top marks in each of three categories (Role-Play, Individual, Group) collated.

Weighting: (20%)

 

Unit 3:  Controlled Assessment: Studying Spoken and Written Language

Format: 

Task 1 – The Study of Spoken Language. 1 hour. 10%.

Task 2 – The Study of Written Language. 1 hour. 10%
