Belfast City Airport – IGNITE Youth Leadership Programme

The IGNITE Youth Leadership Programme aim is to connect young people from across Northern Ireland and give them a chance to IGNITE their leadership skills and make an impact in their communities.

During the ten month long programme, participants will work towards an NLP Diploma in Personal and Career Development while developing their leadership skills and gaining the confidence to pursue their own interests with passion and determination.

Programme Overview

The programme consists of 7 sessions, held once a month between September 2025 to June 2026 and concludes with a graduation ceremony, where participants will receive their NLP diploma.

Each session will cover a different topic, for example gaining a deep understanding of yourself, handling setbacks, looking after your physical and emotional wellbeing, and managing money.

Key highlights of this year’s programme include: a residential trip to bond with new peers & put new skills to the test, a VIP trip to see the Belfast Giants & learn about the strength of teamwork, and a graduation ceremony to celebrate the completion of the programme!

Entry Criteria

Must be 16-18 years old

Be able to attend all seven sessions

Live in Northern Ireland
