NIAS Work Experience

NI Ambulance Service are running work experience as outlined below. The spaces for the in person sessions are currently full, however they are accepting those in year 13 who would be interested to create a waitlist if any spaces become available.  They still have spaces available for the online session. 

Tuesday 24^th June, they are running an online session which they have 30 spaces for.  These will be allocated on a first come basis.  Please email Amanda.mcalea@nias.hscni.net to register your interest.

The schedule will be as follows:

• Monday 23^rd June:                Induction and teaching day at NIAS HQ, Knockbracken Health Care Park, Belfast

• Tuesday 24^th June:                 ONLINE via teams, careers Q&A session with Paramedic Clinicians

• Wednesday 25^th June: HEMS Helicopter Base visit 10am – 12pm (Maze Long Kesh, Lisburn)

• Monday 30^th June:  HART BASE – Hazardous Area Response Team 10am – 12pm, based in Lissue Industrial Estate, Lisburn
