Hospitality and Tourism Careers Bulletin

The DfE Careers Service has published a refresh of the Hospitality and Tourism careers bulletin. The updated bulletin is presented in two parts – with Part A focusing on careers in the local Hospitality sector, while Part B takes a closer look at Tourism career pathways.

The bulletin shines a spotlight on the career options available, through article and video-based career snapshots from students, apprentices, and those working in local businesses across a wide range of roles.

The publication also contains information on:

• The variety of entry routes available, including supported employment initiatives available locally to help people with barriers to employment to find and sustain a career in the hospitality and tourism sector
• Labour market information
• Information on key skills and qualities
• Signposts to resources to help with further research and career planning
