Join this exclusive experience hosted by fully qualified and experienced Vets and practitioners from the University of Liverpool’s, School of Veterinary Science.

They will take you through a journey of understanding about careers in this profession. From what it takes to qualify, the skills you need, what and how you learn and highlight the varied specialisms and roles that you could achieve and build your career upon.

Whether you are interested in exploring a career as a Veterinary Nurse, a Researcher or have a passion to specialise in roles with exotic animals, farm animals or small animals this experience will give you exclusive access to top professionals in this field.

What is on the agenda?

Work place insights: Hear from a range of professionals about their own career journey, what does their day to day work look like and what hints and tips they have for you in your quest to become a veterinary nurse or vet.

Student life: How to get into university to be a vet, what does the vet course involve, and what is student life like?

Join in the experience: Across the three days you can engage with the team, ask questions, join activities, tasks and you will work on a virtual group project to build on your own knowledge and experience too.

Where: Remote/ learning via Google Classrooms. If your application is successful, you will be sent individual log-in details to attend.

When: Monday 23rd March to Wednesday 25th March, each day 9.30 – 2.30pm. Full 3-day attendance expected.
