Duration: 1 day – 7th July 2021

Application Closing Date: 25th June 2021

When you sit down in a restaurant, have you ever wondered what work goes into the meal you’re eating?

If you haven’t, don’t worry… We’re launching this virtual work experience to show you what goes on behind closed doors.

Join us and delve into the world of food, drink and quality service. You’ll hear how technology has change affected and modernised the catering industry, how beverage can elevate food, the physical and mental benefits of eating well and where food comes from as well as how it’s made.

The session will run from 10:00am through to 14:00pm, you’ll hear from Chef of the Year Sam and General Manager Elliot from Northamptonshire’s dining venue of the year ‘Hibiscus’ on their journey, skills and their mission to break the stigma surround luxurious foods. In addition to this there will be the chance for a LIVE cook along where Sam will be on hand to show that you don’t need to visit fast food restaurants for an inexpensive and easy family meal.

This is our first opportunity with Speakers for schools and we’re so excited to share this experience with people who are passionate, creative and enthusiastic to show you what goes into food and restaurants.

We look forward to meeting you.
