An introduction to Hospitality – Life in a kitchen & restaurant

This is an opportunity to gain an insight into the hospitality industry. We will introduce you to the different aspects of the hospitality trade, you will meet a few of our team, get an insight into how a day looks and feels and then we will do some fun games and exercises.

Whether you’re interested in front-of-house (restaurant, bar, barista or reception) or back-of-house (kitchen), we will split into groups and give you a look behind the scenes to see what work it takes to put food on a plate!

If you have an interest in the industry, or maybe you’re not sure and would like to know more then this is the programme for you!

Speakers for Schools Experience Programme have a large selection of virtual work experience currently available. Many of these are with UK companies and pupils from NI are eligible to apply.

Pupils must first register at https://www.s4snextgen.org/ to avail of these opportunities.
