We are looking for Apprentice Fabricators to join our team in September 2025!
Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!
Vacancy Details
Our apprenticeship scheme offers you the opportunity to develop the skills required to kick start your career, whilst working on large-scale, iconic structures.
Joining us on this apprenticeship will allow you to work towards the industry recognised Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice Standard.
The successful candidates will work in our factory, gaining hands-on experience in interpreting technical drawings, marking out, producing, and assembling fabricated products. You will learn the role from our skilled fabricators who will be mentoring you throughout your journey. You will also study, 2 day a week, at South West College to gain the theoretical knowledge alongside your practical skills.
You will start on a Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship and then after 2 years move onto a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship for a further 2 years. You will need to apply, and be accepted into South West College to be eligible to complete an Apprenticeship with us.
We are looking for hardworking individuals who have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn this exciting trade.
Applications will be reviewed March 2025, with Assessment Centres being held for shortlisted candidates in April 2025.
