On Thursday 16th November 2017, our GCSE and A Level Art students accompanied by their Art Teacher Mrs D Browne, were invited along to the IDEA Centre in South West College, Omagh for an inspirational talk and demonstration by Irish Artist and Printmaker Robert Kelly, whose work is held in public collections by Louth County Council, County Monaghan VEC and in corporate and private collections in Ireland and Internationally. Students got the opportunity to talk with the artist, learn about his career route as well as understand the inspiration for his work and how it has developed over his career. Students came away enthused and inspired to incorporate what they had learnt into their own artworks.
