British Medical Association – Virtual Insight Event

The British Medical Association are hosting a webinar, Making it in medicine: insights into studying and working in the medical field on Friday 17 September, 10-11.30am.

The event will be a free, Microsoft Teams live broadcast and is open to all students interested in studying medicine. They will be able to attend it individually. For anyone interested but unable to attend the event live, a recording will be available following the event.

The event will start at 10.00 with a pre-recorded introduction from Dr Latifa Patel, acting BMA representative body chair. We will then hear short presentations from Ms Becky Bates, Dr Jingy Alom and Dr Twishaa Sheth, followed by a panel discussion chaired by Dr Tinaye Mapako.

There will not be a live Q&A, but panellists will answer pre-submitted questions. If any student has questions about on their path to becoming a doctor/studying medicine (or any general/specific question to studying/practicing medicine) that they wish to be answered at the event, please forward them to Mrs McCaughey – mmccaughey847@c2kni.net by end of today.
