As a Commercial Management Apprentice, you’ll be joining a business that believes in nurturing talent and building careers from the ground up. You’ll be part of our Commercial team, supporting the delivery of high-value construction and interior fit-out projects. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a fully funded, industry-recognised Apprenticeship qualification.

As a Commercial Management Apprentice, you’ll be placed in one of the below departments:
Quantity Surveying
Within Quantity Surveying you’ll learn how to manage the financial side of construction projects from start to finish. You’ll help measure and value work, prepare contracts, monitor costs, and ensure projects deliver value for money. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll combine technical knowledge with problem-solving and communication skills, while working towards professional qualifications.
Estimating
Within Estimating you’ll focus on the very start of the construction journey. You’ll learn how to analyse drawings, specifications, and data to prepare accurate cost estimates that form the foundation of winning bids. Working with experienced estimators, you’ll develop a sharp eye for detail, confidence with digital tools, and the ability to translate design information into real project costs.
Technical Apprenticeship
Technical Apprenticeships are available at a number of entry points from GCSE, A Level or BTEC awards, we are currently seeking to recruit individuals hoping to transition onto a Higher-Level or Degree Level Apprenticeship, which are offered from Level 4 to Level 7.
A Higher Apprenticeship provides a structured pathway to develop your skills while earning a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the workplace alongside dedicated study time, with all training costs fully funded. These programmes offer a clear route to professional body membership and can lead to rewarding careers.
Technical Competencies
Essential
Working on (or intending to undertake) a Higher or Degree Level Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Similar Apprenticeship
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Competent in use of computer software including Microsoft Excel
Team working ethic both within commercial team and within whole organisation
Willing to work throughout the UK
Full UK Driving License
Desirable
Health & Safety Induction Including Management System CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card

Influencing: Identifies and builds relationships with those who will be useful now and in the future in achieving strategic business objectives.
Initiative: Is able to work alone to get results in an effective way. Understands and seeks to minimise waste in resources and processes. Adopts and encourages others to adopt new ways of working. Demonstrate ability to eventually work unsupervised.
Team Player: Always willing to be involved in other activities to achieve company objectives. Works collaboratively and uses influence to gain resolution of issues. Demonstrates honestly, loyalty and commitment.
Negotiation: Willingness to learn and the ability to understand negotiation skills and why these are important for all supply chain members all contractual rights and obligations are realised and protected.
