On Monday 20th June Irish language students from Years 9, 10 and 11 visited the Donegal Gaeltacht. Their trip involved learning more about life in the Gaeltacht area over the centuries from the opulence of Glenveagh Castle and National Park to the hard work of the Ferry family as reknowned weavers whose history is captured in Ionad Cois Locha, Dún Lúiche. Highlights of the trip involved a boat trip on the lake at Dunlewey and the tour of the beautiful castle at Glenveagh.
