Are you confused about the world of employability? What should be included in a CV? What should you do or not do in an interview?
This interactive programme will connect you with impressive local employability experts where you can discover more about employability and what real employers look for!
You will take part in practical tasks to help you to build your employability profile; From CV’s to interviews and working life, you will learn about the working world and how to stand out to employers!
While each session is sector-focussed, our one-day insight virtual placements offer insightful interactions and an overview of industries in our region. This structured and employability-led initiative is delivered entirely live and online, helping you to explore the world of work directly from the classroom. There’s a focus on discovering sectors and raising aspirations, with an emphasis on the varied roles in each industry.
Placement is 10am-3pm
Speakers for Schools Experience Programme have a large selection of virtual work experience currently available. Many of these are with UK companies and pupils from NI are eligible to apply.
Pupils must first register at https://www.s4snextgen.org/ to avail of these opportunities.
