We wanted to make you aware of an incredible virtual work experience opportunity with Facebook, through the Digdata programme.
From fashion to finance, sport to social media, travel to telecomms, data is used every day to make decisions.
The skills required for a career in data are broad, so whether you’re a creative, a problem solver, a storyteller, an inventor, or a number cruncher – you can combine your natural skills, interests, and passions with your favourite curriculum subjects to find out about new and exciting career paths.
The Facebook live online career challenges are available for students across all year groups to attend on the following dates and times:
- First Step (Years 8-10) – Thursday 7th October at 4.30pm
- Next Step (Years 11-14) – Tuesday 12th October at 5pm
The event is free to attend and will give you the opportunity to solve a real business problem and earn a virtual work experience certificate.
Attending this event will give you a head start in learning about new and exciting careers in I.T.
