Formed in 1999, Global Automations (NI) Ltd has grown steadily and is now established as a premier supplier of Software, Systems Integration and Support in the Industrial Automation Sector. We work within a wide range of diverse industries including Water and Waste Water Treatment, Quarrying, Recycling, Renewables, Food Processing, Packaging and Building Services to name a few. As part of our continued growth, Global Automation (NI) Ltd is currently recruiting for an Engineering Apprentice.
Role Details
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, innovative and eager to join a team of talented, experienced Engineers and be part of the Company as we grow and develop the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to bring their own skills and experiences to the role and lay good foundations for a successful career with Global Automation (NI) Ltd.
As part of the Degree Apprenticeship in Manufacturing & Engineering, apprentices will develop a broad base of technical skills within a vibrant software company including safety, programming, automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, digitalization and project management.
You will have the opportunity to apply both the academic learning and practical skills that you will learn to the different industries that we work in.
This four-year programme is in partnership with Mid-Ulster’s Manufacturing & Engineering Growth & Advancement (MEGA) and Ulster University and subject to funding and approval from DfE.
Global Automation (NI) Ltd hope to provide employment for one Degree Apprentice who will have an Earn-As-You-Learn opportunity to achieve an industry approved Level 6 BEng Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. This is a paid employment and with ‘off the job’ training within the School of Computing & Digital Intelligent Systems at Magee campus.
