Our Global Finance Shared Service Centre have an exciting opportunity to bring on board a Finance Higher Level Apprentice/ Assistant Accountant on a Part Time, Fixed Term (2 year) basis at our Dunmurry, Belfast Site!

This role carries out varied accounting tasks and assignments including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data and completes rotations, under varying levels of supervision. It is focused on developing the skills and capabilities needed to take on an Accountant role within Survitec.

 

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria:

  •  Candidates must be at least 18 years on or before 1 July 2022 and meet the minimum entry criteria set by the Sector Partnership Board
  •  A minimum of 96 tariff points (UCAS New Tariff points) from any Level 3 subjects; OR a minimum of MMM profile on Extended Diploma in Business or Finance or related area
  •  Minimum GCSE Grade B in Maths and Grade C English (or equivalent)

This programme will provide you with an immediate two-year employment contract while attending Belfast Met on a weekly day release basis.

A Recognised Qualification: You will gain an internationally recognised qualification – Level 5 Diploma Accounting Technicians from Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) which is equivalent in level to a foundation degree.

A Stepping Stone to Chartered Accountancy: Upon successful completion of your Higher Apprenticeship, you could continue your studies towards Chartered Status at Level 7 with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).

Earn While you Learn: You will gain valuable work experience in a accountancy role within the greater Belfast area, obtain a recognised professional qualification and earn a regular salary (at least the national minimum age wage).
