Medic Mentor have extended their Widening Access to Medicine deadline until 15th April to give as many students as possible a chance to apply for WAMS summer school places.

We have a clear vision to level the playing field and widen participation in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science.

A fully funded WAMS Summer School place is open to year 12s (Year 13 NI). It is worth up to £3000

To be eligible for funding, students need to identify with one or more of the criteria liked here: https://medicmentor.co.uk/widening-access-to-medicine/ and provide evidence on request.

Successful applicants will get a place on the 5 day Summer School and gain access to continued mentoring throughout the year.

90% of our Summer School students get one or more offers to study medicine, dentistry, or veterinary science.

Medic Mentor awarded 20 fully funded Summer School Places in 2020, 30 places in 2021 and this year aim to award 30-50 fully funded places to help even more students.

Students can apply directly via the following link -https://airtable.com/shrYADzXgEXQt7dqZ.

This is a standard application process and includes the completion of a 4000 character count personal statement.
Here, students should outline their motivations to study their desired career and the experience and skillset they’ve acquired thus far.

The deadline for applications is Friday 15th of April at 5pm.
