MO’HARA’S RUN FOR MND

Friday 17th of September 2021 was a very emotional day for the staff at Omagh CBS as we celebrated the retirement of our much loved colleague Mr Dominic O’Hara. Sadly Dominic was forced to retire early after being diagnosed with the life-limiting condition Motor Neurone Disease. To raise funds for families affected by Motor Neurone Disease Dominic’s son, Emmett, has undertaken the challenge of running ten half-marathons in ten days. Five of these runs will take place in Northern Ireland with the remaining five taking place in Liverpool, where Emmett is studying to become a teacher.
Today a number of staff had the pleasure of running with Emmett as he completed his fourth half marathon.

Emmett has set a huge target of £30,000 and amazingly he has currently raised in excess of £24,000. Well done Emmett.
