Who are we looking for?
Students in secondary level education (Aged 14 – 18)
Self-motivated students with good communication and time management skills
Those who are enthusiastic about STEM and discovering new things
What does it involve?
It will be based in one of the NIE Networks offices or sites across Northern Ireland.
You will get insight into a variety of areas within the company including:
Engineering
IT
Digital Technology
Customer Services
Planning, Wayleave & Survey
The work experience will include but not limited to, the following:
Gaining understanding of our business processes
Variety of role overviews
Looking at things from an engineering perspective and how things are designed
Interacting with all levels of NIE Networks staff i.e. , apprentices & graduate trainees up to managers.

Our next career insight opportunity will take place on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October at our Danesfort office in Belfast from 9am – 3.30pm (approx.) and will provide an overview and insight into a range of opportunities and careers within NIE.
