Online Cyber Security Summer Camp – Atlantic Technological University, Sligo

Online Cyber Security Summer Camp from ATU Sligo, in conjunction with HEA and Cyber Ireland aims to introduce Cyber Security topics to participants and to have some fun learning along the way.

The camp will take place from Monday 13th June until Friday 17th June from 10 am until 1 pm for all second-level students from TY, 5th year and 6th-year classes (Year 13 and 14 NI)

This introductory Online Summer Camp will consist of the following topics:

Cryptography

Network Security

Information Privacy

Web Application Security

The camp will consist of a mixture of online tutorials, exercises and challenges to practice your skills on.

This camp assumes students have no prior experience or knowledge in the Cyber Security field!

Camp Details:

The camp will be run over Microsoft Teams, where we will meet at 10am and introduce the difference topics. The students will then have access to an online platform where they can test out the new skills acquired and complete challenges. The camp and the online platform will involve no cost and will be free to use. The final day (Friday) we will have a number of challenges which will amalgamate all the skills you have acquired during the week.
