Duration: 5 Days      26th – 30th July

Application Closing Date: 28th June

At Pozzoni we specialise in designing and delivering award winning architecture across a range of sectors including; living, education, leisure and commercial.

We are passionate about inspiring the next generation of architects and are pleased to offer a virtual work experience programme taking place July 26th-July 30thfor students aged between 15-18 years old.

We will discuss:

  • The route to becoming an architect.
  • And the process of creating a building from concept sketch to construction.

Your challenge for the week will be to design your own Café Pavilion for your local park.

  • You will start by sketching your ideas
  • Then with tutoring from an architect, model your idea in 3D using SketchUp.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your building and your design process to your fellow students at the end of the week.

Our work experience course will teach you key design skills, give you an introduction to 3D modelling using SketchUp and practice your presentation skills.

You will come away with a better understanding of what architecture is, how you could become an architect and best of all a mini portfolio of your own design work.

If you are enthusiastic and looking for a creative challenge from your work experience then perhaps you’ll consider joining us at the Pozzoni Academy.
