Proposal to Remove Academic Selection, on a Phased Basis, at Christian Brothers Grammar School, Omagh

Please note that the above proposal, together with comments made by local schools, were considered at the Education Authority’s Education Committee Meeting on 10^th March 2016. Subsequently the Development Proposal for both Omagh CBS and the Loreto Grammar School Omagh were published in the local press during the week commencing 14^th March 2016

The public consultation on the Proposal to Remove Academic Selection at the Christian Brothers Grammar school (and the Loreto Grammar School Omagh) is now open.  The statutory period for submission of objections will close on 16^th May 2016.

Any objections should be lodged with the Area Planning Team,  Department of Education, Rathgael House, Baloo Road, Bangor Co Down, BT19 7PR before 16^th May.  Responses can also be sent by email to: dps@deni.gov.uk
