Queen’s University Belfast are holding their Engineering Parents’ Evening on Thursday 7th November  2019.

This event is targeted at parents/guardians and students in years 11, 12, 13 and 14 who are studying or considering studying A-Level Mathematics and Science/Technology or equivalent vocational qualifications.

Students will have the opportunity to explore the engineering disciplines side by side. They will hear from current students, graduates and academic staff about the reasons why they should consider doing a degree in Engineering.

There is high demand for engineering graduates in Ireland, GB and globally, therefore representatives from a selection of companies will be available throughout the evening to discuss the many opportunities both during study and after graduation.

Students are welcome to arrive from 6:00pm. Scheduled subject talks commence at 7:00pm and visitors will have the opportunity to attend all subject talks. At the Student Hub,  students can chat to current students about their experiences of their courses and view demonstrations of the projects they have been working on. Academic staff and industry employers will be available in the Whitla Hall. Light refreshments will be served.
