QUB – Planning Evening for Students, Parents and Guardians

Queen’s University, Belfast invite students, parents and guardians to an information evening at the School of Natural and Built Environment. This event aims to introduce geography students from Years 11,  12, 13 and 14 to career opportunities in urban planning, provide them with an overview of our programme offerings and an opportunity to engage with planning employers, graduates and current students.

 

The event will be held on Wednesday November 1st between 6:00 and 7:30pm at the David Keir Building, Stranmillis Road. We will provide a fully interactive experience, giving students time to talk to our academic staff, graduates and employers from the public and private sector. The event schedule is as follows:

 

6:00 pm              Welcome and Introductory Session with Dr Richard Waldron

6:30 pm              Panel discussion with Employers and Graduates, led by Dr Heather Ritchie

7:00 pm              Small Group discussions with current students and academic staff
