QUB – Social Sciences Summer School

Queen’s University Belfast’s School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work  is running a Social Sciences Summer School in July, where students can learn more about important and interesting topics such as families, religion, crime and deviance, social inequality, ethnic diversity, politics and more!

Students will have the opportunity to chat informally to staff and current students and find out study options.

The summer school is funded by the Queen’s Q-Step Centre, which is part of a UK wide programme to increase quantitative skills of social science students.

Travel Bursary – Each successful applicant will be provided with a travel bursary to cover the cost of attending the summer school, payable at the end of the summer school (some terms and conditions apply).

Dates and Times – 3rd and 4th July (9am -4pm), 5th July (9am – 2pm)

Venue – Queen’s Universiry Belfast campus

How to apply – Please email Ms Zoie Watterson at qstep@qub.ac.uk with the following information:  Year of study, A-Level subjects and your school. Please include 200 words about why you want to attend the summer school.
