During this one-hour session, you’ll hear from a Senior Pilot Recruitment Officer at Ryanair, AFTA Ryanair Future Flyer Academy graduates, and current cadets as they share their journey into aviation, their training experience, and what life is really like as a cadet pilot.

The aviation industry continues to grow rapidly, with Boeing forecasting over 660,000 new commercial pilots needed worldwide over the next 20 years.

These Future Flyer programmes are open to:

Ab initio applicants with no previous flying experience

Gateway 1 applicants holding a PPL with 170 total hours (including 100 PIC)

Gateway 2 applicants holding PPL/CPL/MEIR, looking to complete AUPRT and a Ryanair-specific APS MCC at AFTA

Successful applicants are guaranteed a fast-tracked final screening with Ryanair upon completion of training, along with a part-sponsored Type Rating.
