The Year 14 and Graduate Interview Preparation Webinar aims to assist students develop their interview skills and prepare them for the final hurdle of the application process. SwotUP’s team of medical student volunteers will deliver presentations to guide students through different interview formats used by UK medical schools and help prepare attendees for some of topical and ethical issues they may face in interviews.

The focus is on maximising the success of students applying to medical schools across the United Kingdom. Designed and delivered by current UK medical students, they have drawn upon their personal experiences, along with Year 13 and 14 school students, medical students and doctors, to develop a course that is targeted at the most challenging aspects of the interview process to increase your success. All profits made from running these courses is donated to  chosen charities (Students Working Overseas Trust and the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund).

Since 2016,  SwotUP have helped more than 700 Year 13 and 14 students from across Northern Ireland navigate their way through the medical school application process, providing tips and advice from own experiences on how to make the most out of their application, all whilst raising money for charity.

SwotUP courses do not guarantee a successful medical school application. They are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need, helping them make the most of their medical school application.

SwotUP have a suggested donation for this course. This is the suggested price, calculated to cover expenses for the day and a donation to chosen charities however, it is a strong belief that financial status should not put you at a disadvantage when it comes to applying to medical school so you are only ever asked to donate what you can.
