The programme is aimed at year 13 and 14 pupils. The content is of relevance to those due to begin a degree programme and the transferrable skills are also of value to those choosing to enter the working environment.

Studying at university requires a transition to a more independent approach to learning. This online course is designed to help you understand this transition and enable you to develop these skills which you can already begin to use at school.

There are four components: Academic Expectations, Understanding Information Sources, Searching, and Plagiarism and Referencing. Taking about 30 minutes to an hour, a quiz follows each element and the entire programme can be taken module by module as and when time permits.

The course is free to anyone, does not require a login and at the end, a certificate is granted which participants can print.
