Leaving home and moving to a new place with new people is a big step. We want to help make that move as easy as possible for you.
Our Accommodation Open Day takes place across all campuses and will give you the opportunity to;
- View the accommodation on offer to you
- Visualise where you could be living
- Meet the Reslife team
- Have your questions answered
Belfast
Belfast makes the perfect home for students who love city living. The accommodation is located in the Cathedral Quarter, it is the beating heart of Belfast, home to historical buildings, trendy art galleries and popular pubs and restaurants. It is an exciting place to study, work and live.
Ulster has accommodation with 123 York Street and LIV Student providing the newest and most affordable purpose built accommodation in the City Centre for students studying at Belfast campus.
Jordanstown
Jordanstown Sports Village located only seven miles from the vibrant Belfast City Centre, provides the perfect mix of the great outdoors and busy city living. The accommodation has a village feel, surrounded by lush lawns and trees, it is a short walk to the Loughshore Park and the stunning views over Belfast Lough.
Coleraine
The Coleraine campus has an enviable location overlooking the River Bann, less than a mile to Coleraine, and only three miles from seaside towns of Portrush and Portstewart. The Belfast to Derry train line runs past the campus entrance making it easily accessible.
Magee
The campus is set in the vibrant city of Derry, providing students with a cultural experience you won’t get anywhere else. Discover the history of the city by visiting attractions such as the Derry Walls or take advantage of the year-round events and festivals. If you live in Magee, you cannot miss the annual Halloween carnival parade. The city’s favourite holiday was once crowned the best Halloween celebration in the world.
About The Session
To help you choose your Uni Accommodation, come along to view your options at each of our campus locations.
This tour takes about 20 – 30 minutes and involves walking outside, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Should you or an accompanying family member have any access requirements please state this on the booking form.
We know that choosing a university is a daunting experience and we know how important it is to visit the place where you may end up studying and living in the future.
On arrival you will be assigned your resident tour guide who will escort you around the accommodation and answer any questions you may have!
The Sports Centre will be open for tours and a member of our Well-Being team will be available to answer any questions.
Parking
Belfast
There are several parking options available for you to use in Belfast city centre. Further details are provided on the carparks website.
There is a pay and display across the street from 123, the hourly rate is roughly £0.50 per hour for short term parking.
St Anne’s square offer subscription parking.
Coleraine, Jordanstown, Magee
Car parking is available free of charge on Open Day adjacent to the Student Village.
Staying safe on campus
The health and wellbeing of our staff and students is our number one priority. To help keep us all safe we have a number of measures in place:
- Please consider taking a symptom-free (lateral flow) test before your visit.
- Face coverings are required inside all University buildings and in crowded areas so please bring a mask with you. We will have disposable masks if you forget to bring one. If you cannot wear a face covering because of a medical reason, you don’t need to wear one.
- If you or anyone you live with starts showing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not travel to campus
- If you or anyone you live with has a positive COVID test or is awaiting a result, please do not travel to campus
