EXCITING DISCOVERY WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS

How will humans work with robots in manufacturing roles?

• Are you interested in robots?

•Do you want to find out how digital manufacturing could change the way we make things in the future?

•Do you want to look at some of the exciting opportunities of the future?

The University of Nottingham spends a lot of it’s time thinking about the future and it’s really important for young people to know about their innovations, as well as the changes that are coming to help them understand more about the future too. It’s an exciting time and having an awareness of the opportunities digital holds for the future can only increase a young person’s employment chances.

The DigiTOP project team from the University of Nottingham would love you to join them for a virtual Discovery Workshop focusing on digital manufacturing – where robots will do some of the work that humans have historically always done. You will hear about topics such as:

– Cloud-based technology

– Digital Twins

– Sensors

– Human-Robots working together

There will be the opportunity to ask questions and really engage with the team.

This is open to students from Year 9 upwards and the online virtual session will be delivered on Thursday 24th June from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and the link to join will be available directly from Speakers for Schools.
