ROLE SUMMARY

The post holder will form part of the ICC Belfast, Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall Entertainments team. They will be responsible for contracting and liaising with a wide range of clients including; event agencies, promoters, agents and artists. The ideal candidate will have a positive, solution-based approach to working with clients and meticulous attention to detail.

KEY DUTIES

Administration

  • To assist the Programming Manager in the development of a balanced commercial programme of artistic and entertainment events in accordance with the BWUH’s strategy and business plan.
  • To assist in the administration of client proposals in relation to the entertainment programmes.
  • To prepare appropriate contracts, artiste agreements and event set-up forms for all non-business events across both venues.
  • To maintain relationships with entertainment promoters, agents, companies and individuals in accordance with the company’s strategy and business plan.
  • As required, to act as a point of contact for entertainment hirers, for all areas of the company, with responsibility for ensuring an effective and efficient booking process to contract completion.
  • As required, to act as a point of contact in ensuring the effective communication of all associated event information to relevant sections within the company.
  • To assist in the collation of all relevant information required for each event through the effective communication with clients, hirers, promoters and artists, their agents or management.
  • As required, to attend meetings and represent the Programming Manager in their absence in all relevant matters relating directly to the events programme at the Halls.
  • To fully understand, and act as administrator, for the VEMS system for the venues, and to assist with the accurate input of all event information.
  • To assist in the development and maintenance of any required records or databases and provide management reports as required.
